It’s almost here!

The Literacy Council’s 2026 Scrabble Tournament is a fun, team-based community event that brings together local businesses, supporters, and friends for a lively competition centered around the power of words. While participants enjoy a lighthearted game, the event plays a vital role in supporting our mission—raising funds for adult literacy, GED preparation, and English language programs across Bowie and Miller Counties. More than just a fundraiser, the tournament highlights the importance of literacy,  helping us build awareness, strengthen community connections, and continue providing life-changing educational opportunities to those who need them most.
