About LUNCH AND LEARNS

What is a Lunch and Learn?

A Lunch & Learn is a casual learning session held during the lunch hour. People come together to learn something new in a friendly, low-pressure setting. Each month, the Literacy Council hosts these events and invites community members to talk about useful topics and resources available in our community.

Why do you have Lunch and Learns?

We hold Lunch & Learn events to build community among our students, introduce them to new topics, and connect them with helpful resources. These sessions give learners a chance to explore new ideas, ask questions, and engage with others in a supportive, friendly setting.

When do you hold them? Who can attend?

We hold Lunch and Learn events on the last Thursday of each month from 11:30 - 12:30 pm - with some variance during holiday seasons. They are always free and anyone in the community can attend.

UPCOMING LUNCH AND LEARNS

We are currently pausing our Lunch and Learn series as our organization undergoes tax season and other changes. Check out our Facebook page for more updates!

No upcoming events.
