This community-led initiative helps families move from crisis to career by:

  • engaging community partners,
  • training agencies on a collaborative case management system, and
  • recruiting case managers to respond when a family is in crisis.

We meet families where they are and empower them to move forward by gaining stability in 13 different areas including housing, transportation, health, education, and employment, among other concerns.

While the Literacy Council brought the program to Texarkana, we are committed to the collective impact model that embraces the power of collaborative effort. This is not a Literacy Council initiative, it is a Texarkana initiative, and its success belongs to all of us. Our Alliance members believe that when we work together, we all win.

100 Families Declaration

In 100 Families, all of the partners pledge to solve complex problems by working together and signing a declaration. Watch a short video of that declaration being read by Texarkana children.
